Held at the Mary Schmidt Campbell Center for Innovation & the Arts on Spellman College's campus, BOOGiE will have it's 2nd set of readings as part of NBAF (National Black Arts Festival) production of Echoes of the Strom: 20 Years After Katrina. BOOGiE along with the 7 other short plays will be directed by the Chair of the Department of Theatre at Spellman College, Aku Kadogo who also was an original cast member of Ntozake Shange's legendary choreopoem,
For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf.
