ANCIENT EGYPT COMES TO UL LAFAYETTE IN WORLD PREMIERE PLAY
Written by celebrated playwright and UL LAfayette Alum, Brian Egland, In “Along the Nile” the Pharaoh Matsimela awakens in a dream temple to have his dreams interpreted by two High Priests, Wati and Moosa, as the Ancient Egyptians believed dreams held messages from the Gods and answers to the problems of life, but the problem of the play is that the Pharaoh dreams of nothing.
